09 Mar 2010 : Two of our under 11s achieve District recognition
We are proud to announce that two of our under 11s have been selected to play for the Central Essex District Team for the coming season.
The lads selected from the trials are John Sharman as a wicket keeper/batsman and Jonathan Mooney as left arm quick bowler.
This a fantastic endorsement for our Junior coaching program and the investment made by the club in engaging a professional coach, ably supported by all of the hard work that is put in over the summer by our volunteer assistant coaches and the team managers.
Well done boys, make us proud!

19 May 2009 : Great start for all league teams, played 13 won 11
The club has made the best start to the league programme for many years with all 3 teams performing well.
With an earlier start to the league programme, the North Essex League Team is already showing well in the promotion chase in Division 2, having won 6 of the 7 games played.
In the Mid Essex league, the club is top of the Premier League after 3 wins from 3, and second in Division 4 after 2 wins from 3.
Long may it continue!
03 Apr 2009 : Indoor League and Cup double!!
Congratulations to the Indoor League team who have finished the winter programme as Premier League champions and followed this up by winning the cup. The club has never won either competition before so this is a superb achievement.
In the league, the team faced closest challengers Little Waltham in a winner takes all clash in the last round of matches. They emerged as emphatic winners, scoring 104-4 before bowling the opposition out for 37. Star performer was Stuart Bucknell, taking the first 4 wickets to fall.
As a result, the club will represent Mid-Essex in the regional competition next year, with the regional winners taking part in national finals at Lords.
The following weekend the team took part in the finals night for the cup competition, winning both the semi final and final to take the cup for the first time.
